Build and automate anything with Claude Sonnet. Here's what we're covering today. Claude Sonnet just got a serious upgrade, and combined with the new Claude Science platform, you can now build workflows, automate entire business systems, and run research pipelines with AI doing most of the heavy lifting. I'm going to show you exactly how this works, and I'll use real examples from the AI Profit Boardroom so you can see how this applies to an actual business, not some made-up scenario.
Stay with me, because the science piece specifically is going to change how you think about what AI can actually do. First, what is Claude Sonnet, and why does it matter right now? Claude Sonnet is Anthropic's flagship model. It sits right in the middle of their lineup, between the lightweight Haiku and the heavier Opus.
But here's what matters for you. Sonnet is the one that handles complex reasoning, multi-step tasks, and code. It's what powers Claude code. It's what runs inside the tools most builders are using right now, and it connects to almost anything through something called MCP, Model Context Protocol.
That's just a fancy way of saying Claude can plug into your external tools. Slack, Notion, Databases, AP is your CRM. Instead of Claude just knowing things, it can now use things. That shift matters more than people realize.
Hey, if we haven't met already, I'm the digital avatar of Julian Goldie, CEO of SEO agency Goldie Agency. Whilst he's helping clients get more leads and customers, I'm here to help you get the latest AI updates. And Julian Goldie reads every comment, so make sure you comment below. Here's a simple example of what that looks like in practice.
Profit boardroom. You could prompt Claude Sonnet. Search our Slack for the most common questions our members ask this week. Write five short form content ideas based on those questions and draft a follow-up email sequence that moves new members from their first week to their 30-day milestone.
One prompt, three outputs, all connected. That's MCP doing its job. You're not just asking an AI what to think. You're asking it to pull real data, do real work, and deliver something usable.
Now, Claude Science. This is where it gets interesting. Anthropic just launched Claude Science. It's a dedicated research workbench, not a new model, a new workflow environment built on top of Claude's existing reasoning capabilities, but purpose built for complex research and technical workflows.
Here's what it actually does. It connects to over 60 scientific databases. It creates reproducible computational environments, meaning every result it generates can be traced back to the exact code and data that produced it. It handles on-demand compute.
It generates figures and visualizations, and it keeps all of that in one place so nothing gets lost between tools. Think of it like this. Right now, most research workflows look like this. Someone reads papers across five tabs, exports data from three different databases, runs a calculation in a separate tool, pastes results into a doc, tries to remember what they did six weeks later, and can't reproduce it.
Claude Science collapses that into one connected environment. Every step is traceable. Every artifact links back to the code that made it. Now, here's why this matters, even if you're not a scientist.
The logic Claude Science uses, traceable outputs, connected data sources, reproducible results, that's the same logic you want in a business system, and that applies directly to SEO. If you're running a content strategy, you want to know which pages are driving traffic, why they rank, what changed, and what you should do next. That's a traceable workflow. That's what Claude can help you build.
Here's a real example. Say you want to understand why your AI profit boardroom content is ranking for some terms, but not others. You prompt Claude, here are the top 20 pages on our site by traffic. Here are the keywords each one ranks for.
Identify the content gaps, flag which pages are close to ranking in the top three, and just need more backlinks, and write a prioritized list of what to fix first. Claude maps it out. Every recommendation ties back to the data you gave it, nothing guessed. Speaking of SEO, if you want your AI profit boardroom content to actually get found on Google, that's where a real SEO strategy comes in.
Claude can help you write better content faster, but backlinks, technical SEO, and keyword strategy, that's what moves the needle on rankings. If you want my team to look at your site and build you a custom SEO game plan, book a free SEO strategy session. We'll look at where you're at, where the gaps are, and exactly what needs to happen to get more traffic and leads from Google. Back to the workflow. Here's how Claude Science actually works from a process standpoint. You give Claude Science a task. Let's say a biotech researcher says, analyze the latest literature on a specific protein, cross-reference with three databases, generate a visualization of interaction pathways, and produce a reproducible report.
Claude Science handles the database connections, the compute, the visualization, and the output, all in one session, and the output is linked to the code that generated it. So six months later, someone else can run the exact same workflow and get the exact same result. That reproducibility piece is what makes this different from just using a standard AI chat tool for research. With regular AI, you get an answer.
With Claude Science, you get an answer and a verifiable trail showing exactly how it got there. Thropic launched Claude Science alongside a global hackathon called Built with Claude Life Sciences. It's a virtual event with participants, including researchers, physicians, and biotech developers. Two tracks, one for research using Claude Science directly, and one for building tools on top of Claude code.
TechCrunch confirmed Claude Science is primarily a workflow layer, not a new foundational model. That matters because it means existing Claude Sonic users can access this through the right interface. It's built on the same reasoning you're already using. Now let me connect this back to what it means for anyone building a business.
The pattern Claude Science uses connect to data, reason across it, produce traceable outputs. That same pattern can apply to growing any community, any agency, any content business. Here's a specific AI profit boardroom example. You want to write a month of content for the community.
You prompt Claude Sonic, here are 30 member questions from our Slack archive, group them by theme, identify the top 10 most asked. For each one, write a short tutorial title, a one paragraph summary, and a three-step action plan a member could follow in under 20 minutes. Claude does that in one pass. You now have a full content calendar.
Every piece of content is grounded in actual questions real members asked. So it's relevant, useful, and keeps people engaged. Or say you're trying to improve conversion on the AI profit boardroom landing page. You prompt Claude, here's our current landing page copy.
Here are five objections our members told us they had before joining. Rewrite the hero section, the benefit bullets, and the CTA to address each objection directly. Keep it under 200 words total. That's a real use of Claude Sonic that takes 10 minutes and improves a page that runs around the clock.
These are the kinds of workflows members inside the AI profit boardroom are building right now. Claude Sonic is the core of how businesses automate knowledge work right now. Claude Science extends that into structured research and traceable workflows. And MCP connects it to everything else you already use.
The people who figure out how to plug this into their actual workflows, content, outreach, retention, growth, are the ones who pull ahead. The tools are here. The workflows are real. The only question is whether you build them now or later.
