New Claude update is insane. That's what we're diving into today. Claude just rolled out something called Claude Science and I want to break down exactly what it does because it's easy to misread this one. First thing to clear up, this is not a new Claude model.
Same Claude brain you already know. What's new is the room they built around it. Here's the problem it solves. If you've ever worked in research you know the drill.
One tab for papers, another for code, another for stats, a terminal window running in the background, a separate viewer for your files. You're not doing research half the time, you're just managing browser tabs. Claude Science takes all of that and puts it under one roof. A year ago pulling together this kind of work meant hours of manual digging, copying, pasting, cross-checking.
Now Claude can search through more than 60 scientific databases in one go, hand you the answer and show its work while doing it. That last part is the piece I really want you to catch. Every output from Claude Science comes wrapped in what Anthropic calls an auditable history. Picture a recipe taped to the bottom of every dish that comes out of the kitchen.
You're not just handed the meal, you get the ingredients, the steps and the exact kitchen it was cooked in. So if a chart looks strange you don't sit there guessing, you flip it over and check the work. Now let's look... If we haven't met already I'm the digital avatar of Julian Goldie, CEO of SEO agency Goldie Agency.
Whilst he's helping clients get more leads and customers, I'm here to help you get the latest AI updates. And Julian Goldie reads every comment so make sure you comment below. Now let's look at who's actually using this. Jérôme Lecoq is a neuroscientist at the Allen Institute.
Before Claude Science, one research review could eat up two years of his time, two years for one document. He built a setup inside Claude Science using about 20 custom skills where smaller agents read through thousands of papers, pull out what matters and draft the review piece by piece. He's now finished around 10 of these reviews, some past 100 pages, with every citation double-checked along the way. Stephen Francis, an epidemiologist at UCSF Brain Tumor Center, he studies how small genetic differences stack up to shape a person's risk for glioma, a type of brain tumor.
That kind of work used to swallow his whole week. With Claude Science, his team is now running that same depth of analysis in about a tenth of the time it used to take. A tenth of the time. Sit with that for a second because that's not a small win.
That's the gap between finishing something this year or pushing it into next year. So how's it actually built? There's one main agent that works like a project lead. Give it a research goal and it lays out a plan, then hands pieces of that plan off to smaller specialist agents, kind of like a manager splitting work across a small team.
One agent might dig through a chemistry database, another crunches numbers, and a separate reviewer agent checks the citations and the math before anything gets marked finished. Here's where I want you to slow down because this is the part that stretches way past science labs. Quick pause here because this connects straight to what we teach inside the AI Profit Boardroom. Claude Science is basically a blueprint.
Research something, organize it, turn it into a finished product. That's the exact same blueprint we teach people to run their business on with AI automation. Inside the AI Profit Boardroom, we've got daily tutorials showing you how to build that same research to output flow step by step so you're not stuck guessing how to apply it. If you want to save real time and cut the busywork out of your business the same way these researchers just did, that's exactly what we walk you through.
Alright, let's keep going because the science side is only half of what makes this interesting. Here's what most people miss. This isn't really a story about scientists switching software, it's a story about what happens when you take a slow scattered process, one that used to bounce across 10 different tools, and you fold it into a single connected flow. And once you see that pattern, you start noticing it's not just a lab thing.
Let me show you what I mean with actual prompts, not just talk. Say you want to grow the AI Profit Boardroom this week, you could type something like this into Claude. Research the top three reasons small business owners hesitate before joining a paid AI community, then write me a landing page that answers each one and shows the real value of learning AI automation. One prompt and you've got research and copy in a single pass.
Say you're after more leads, try this. Find the biggest questions local service business owners are asking about AI automation right now, then turn the answers into a short guide I can give away to grow our email list. That guide becomes your lead magnet and it's built on real questions people are actually asking, not a guess. Here's another one.
You want fresh social proof for the community. Try pull together the kind of results AI Profit Boardroom members get from the daily automation tutorials, then write three short posts I can share that show new visitors exactly what they'd learn inside. Three posts, one prompt, grounded in what's actually happening in the community. One more.
Say you want to grow your reach with a specific type of business owner. Ask Claude to build a short guide on how, say, local service businesses are using AI automation to answer customer messages faster. Then turn that guide into an email invite for a free session inside the AI Profit Boardroom. One research step turns into one finished asset ready to send out the same day.
See the shape of it? Research once, produce many times. That's the exact thing Claude Science proves out at the highest level in real labs with real published results behind it. And that same prompt then produce loop is what we teach people to run inside their own business through the AI Profit Boardroom.
Now I want to give you the honest picture too because I'm not here to oversell this. Claude Science is still in beta. Right now it runs mainly on Mac OS and Linux, and it leans heavily toward life sciences, things like genomics and protein research. If you were picturing a tool built specifically for marketing tomorrow morning, that's not quite what shipped this week.
What shipped is the pattern underneath it. And that pattern is what shows up for every other kind of work next, the same way it always does. Day. Let's talk about the reviewer agent for a second because I think it's the most overlooked piece of this whole launch.
Anthropic built a separate AI whose only job is checking the first AI's work. It checks citations. It checks the math. It flags mistakes before you ever lay eyes on the final version.
That's a built in second set of eyes running automatically. Now put that to work in your own business. Say you just had Claude draft a new offer page for the AI Profit Boardroom. You could follow up with now act like a skeptical visitor and find every weak claim or confusing line on this page before I publish it.
One extra prompt and you catch the mistakes before a real customer ever sees them. Let's zoom out a bit further. Anthropic isn't running solo here. Google has its own version aimed at scientists.
Other AI labs are chasing their own versions of the same idea. Every major AI company right now is chasing the same basic goal. Stop making people hop between 10 different apps and instead give them one connected place where the AI can actually finish the job start to finish. That's the direction the whole industry is leaning, not just for scientists, for everybody.
So here's where this is headed. Right now it's scientists getting a workbench that saves them months of work. Give it a year and that same workbench logic shows up for marketers, for agencies, for solo business owners running the whole show by themselves. The tools that used to live in separate corners, research over here, writing over there, design somewhere else entirely, keep merging into single connected flows.
The businesses that learn this pattern early are going to move a lot faster than the ones still copying and pasting between browser tabs 12 months from now. Let's get practical. If you run a small business, here's what I'd actually do this week. Pick one research task you're still doing by hand, something like checking competitor pricing, reading through customer reviews, or gathering up the latest news in your industry.
Ask Claude to handle the research step first, then ask it to turn that research straight into one finished piece, a post, an email, a page. Don't try to automate your whole business overnight. Just connect those two steps for one task and notice how much time you get back. I want to bring this back to something human for a second because I think it's the part that actually matters.
Stephen Francis didn't get excited about Claude science because it's shiny. He got excited because it gave him his time back, time he now spends actually thinking through the science instead of wrestling with broken software. That's the real story sitting under every one of these AI headlines. It was never really about the tool.
It's about what you do with the hours it hands back to you. That's what I want you to walk away with today. If you want help setting this up the right way, come join the AI Profit Boardroom. We break down tools like Claude science and hand you the exact prompts and templates to turn research into landing pages, lead magnets, and content for your own business so you save time and get more done without hiring anyone new.
We run coaching calls every single week where you can bring your own setup and get direct help on it. And if you want the full process behind everything I just showed you today, plus 100 other real AI use cases just like it, join the AI Success Lab. It's completely free.
