Qwen 3.8 VS Fable 5 VS GPT 5.6 Sol: Who Wins?

Full transcript

Quen 3.8 vs Fable 5 vs GPT 5.6 Sol who wins. Three huge AI models just dropped in one week. So I put them in a real fight. Quen 3.8 vs Fable 5 vs GPT 5.6 Sol.

Same prompts, same test, no hype. And the winner shocked me. It's the cheap one. It's the new one.

And it beat the big dogs. Today I show you who really wins. Let's go. Okay so this week was nuts.

Three of the biggest AI models on the planet all dropped at once. Quen 3.8 from Alibaba, Claude Fable 5 and GPT 5.6 Sol from OpenAI. And the whole internet is yelling about which one is best. So I didn't guess but tested them for real.

See I built my own bench where every model gets the exact same prompt. One shot, no do-overs, no tricks. Then I score what comes out. Zero to ten.

Same test for all three. It's called Goldie Bench. And here's the fun part. You can go play with every single demo yourself right in your browser.

I'll drop the link below so you can click around and see it with your own eyes. And what I found? It's not what the news is telling you. The little guy that nobody expected showed up and punched the big dogs right in the mouth.

Stick with me because the winner surprised even me and I'll show you the exact build where it happened. Hey if we haven't met already I'm the digital avatar of Julian Goldie CEO of SEO agency Goldie Agency. Whilst he's helping clients get more leads and customers I'm here to help you get the latest AI updates. And Julian Goldie reads every comment so make sure you comment below.

Let me start with the loud one. Cue in 3.8. Alibaba dropped this on July 19th and they made a huge claim. They said it's basically the second best model in the whole world only behind Fable 5.

Big talk right? And here's the catch. They showed zero proof, no test scores, nothing. They just said trust us.

So I thought okay let's actually see if it can back it up. So I rang Quen 3.8 head to head against Fable 5. Same prompts, side by side. And guess what?

Quen won. He won 23 to 30. The so-called second best model beat the top clod model on my bench. That is not supposed to happen.

The underdog beat the champ. Let me show you where. First I gave both models a firework scene to build. Quen made this gorgeous city skyline with fireworks bursting over the water, reflections in the water and everything.

It scored a 9. Fable got a 7. Quen just looked better than I asked for a driving game. Like a mini GTA.

Quen built a full dusk city, traffic on the roads, cops chasing you, a working mini map, health bars, the whole package. It beat Fable again. Then a wormhole in space, then a landing page. Quen kept winning over and over.

I also gave both a spinning wormhole to build. You know that tunnel through space look. Quen nailed it. Glowing rings, a little sci-fi dashboard, the whole thing pulling you in.

Scored an 8.6. Fable got a 6.5 on that one. And the night sky scene with hundreds of planets orbiting a star. Quen made it look like a real movie shot.

It just kept landing punches. Now hold on because this part matters. Quen did not win everything. Fable 5 is still a total beast at the really hard, polished stuff.

I gave them a spooky torch-lit crypt to build. Like a dungeon crawler. Fable made this warm, moody stone tomb with a flaming torch in your hand. It looked amazing.

Quen's version came out kind of plain and generic. Fable won that one. It's lighting and shadows were top tier. So Fable is not weak.

Not even close. But the fact that this new, cheaper model went toe-to-toe with the top clawed model and came out ahead overall. That's the shocker. Keep that in your head because it changes the whole answer.

Let me pause for one sec. You're probably thinking Julian just tell me which one to use. But that's the wrong question. Because the real magic isn't the model, it's the system you run it inside.

Every single demo I just showed you, I built it inside my agent operating system. Same setup every time. One prompt goes in and a finished, working thing comes out. That's the secret source.

Not the model, the system around it. And that's exactly what we do inside my AI Profit Boardroom. Look, these models are powerful. But a powerful tool with no system is useless.

It just sits there. Inside the AI Profit Boardroom, I show you how to take models like Quen 3.8 and Fable 5 and actually put them to work for your business. Like building a landing page that pulls in more leads, or a promo page for your offer that actually converts, or setting up little AI helpers that handle all your boring tasks while you sleep. You get the templates, the prompts, the exact step-by-step, plus weekly walkthroughs, and over 4000 founders all building right there next to you every single day.

So if you want to scale your business, get more customers and save hundreds of hours with AI tools like the ones in this video, come join us in the AI Profit Boardroom. The link is in the description and pinned in the comments. This is the best place to take all this AI stuff and turn it into real results for your business. Okay, back to the fight, because it gets even better.

Next I put Quen 3.8 up against GPT 5.6 Sol. Now Sol is OpenAI's top model, their big brain, their flagship, the expensive one. So this should be an easy win for GPT, right? Quen is just a little preview, Sol should crush it.

Nope, they tied, 18-18, dead even. A preview model from Alibaba tied the flagship from OpenAI. Think about that. And here's the kicker, Sol costs way more to run, like a lot more.

And Quen basically matched it for way less. So even a tie here is a big big win for the little guy. And again, let me show you exactly where Quen won. I asked both to build a voxel island, like a little Minecraft style world.

Quen built this detailed island with snow-capped peaks, trees, sandy beaches, day turning to night, you could break and build blocks. It scored an 8.6. Sol kind of fell apart on that one, got a 3.5. Big gap.

Quen also crushed it on a glowing lava lamp that looked super real, a physics simulation with light bouncing around, a city street game with pedestrians and cops. This little model just kept showing up, task after task. Now Sol had its wins too. Fair is fair.

It made a stunning dogfight scene, fighter jets, layered clouds, a moon in the sky, and a radar that actually worked. It won that one clean. And Sol is amazing at the really hard reasoning jobs where you need it to think deep. But on my bench, same prompts, one shot each, they tied.

And the cheaper model tying the most expensive model is a win in my book. Every day of the week. So let me stack all three up real quick so it's crystal clear. Quen 3.8 vs Fable 5.

Quen won 23-13. Quen 3.8 vs GPT 5.6. Sol, dead tie. 18-18.

That means this new little quen model is standing shoulder to shoulder with the two biggest names in all of AI and it's the cheapest of the three. That is wild. Nobody saw that coming. Now the big question.

Who actually wins? And here's my honest answer. Based on real tests, same prompts, not hype. If you want raw power on the very hardest jobs and you don't care about the cost, Fable 5 is still the king of quality.

It's best builds are just gorgeous, the polish is unreal. That's your premium pick when only the best will do. If you want the strongest all-rounder for tough reasoning and hard code, GPT 5.6 Sol is your guy. It's a monster, it thinks deep, it just costs more to run.

But the real winner, the one that shocked me, Quen 3.8. Think about it, it beat Fable 5, it tied GPT Sol, and it's the cheapest of the three by a mile. That is the best bang for your buck, period.
