NEW NotebookLM Updates Are INSANE!

Full transcript

New Notebook LM updates are insane. Here's exactly what Google just did and why it matters for you. Okay. So Google just gave Notebook LM the biggest update it's ever had.

And I mean the biggest, if you've used Notebook LM before, you know it as that tool where you drop in your files and ask it questions. You upload a PDF, a few notes, maybe a long document, and it answers based on what's inside. That was it. Useful, but kind of simple.

That tool is gone now. What's here instead is something way more powerful. Here's the headline. Every single Notebook now comes with its own secure cloud computer, a real computer running in the background that can write code and run it for you.

That sounds technical. I know. So let me say it plain. Notebook LM can now do the actual work, not just talk about it.

Four, if you gave it a spreadsheet full of numbers, it could tell you what was in there. It could read it back to you, but it couldn't actually crunch the numbers. Now it can. It opens up that little computer, writes the code, runs the math, and hands you the answer.

You don't touch any code. You just ask, Hey, if we have not met already. I am the digital avatar of Julian Goldie, CEO of Goldie agency. While he is out there helping clients grow, I am here keeping you up to date on everything.

AI Julian reads every comment. So drop one below and he will see it. And it gets better. This whole thing now runs on Gemini 3.5, Google's newest and smartest model, plus a system called antigravity.

What does that mean for you? Two things. The answers are more accurate and you can actually see how it's thinking. It shows you its work.

So you're not just trusting a black box. You can watch it reason through your stuff step-by-step. Let me give you a quick real example of why this matters. Say you run a small business and you've got three years of messy records sitting in a spreadsheet.

Old, ugly, all over the place. Before you'd have to clean that up yourself or pay someone to do it. Now you just hand it to notebook LM and say, clean this up and show me what's going on. And it does, it cleans it.

It finds the patterns. It builds you a chart. Done. This is the part that stopped me.

Google says notebook LM now has over 100 software skills built right in. A hundred. Think of skills like little tools. It already knows how to use cleaning data, pulling key facts out of long documents, finding the gaps in your research, spotting connections you'd miss.

It's like hiring a research assistant who already knows how to do a hundred different jobs and never gets tired. And one of my favorite changes is how you start now. Before notebook LM only worked well. If you came in fully prepared, you had to already have all your files lined up, all your sources ready.

If you didn't, you were staring at a blank page stuck. Not anymore. Now you can walk in with just a rough idea. A loose question.

You can say, Hey, I want to understand this topic. And it helps you go find the sources. It can search the web. It pulls in real live information and mixes it with whatever you already have.

So you don't need to be organized to start. You just need to be curious. Quick pause here, because I want to give you something useful. If you're sitting there thinking this sounds amazing, but how do I actually use this in my business day to day?

That's exactly what we do inside the iProfit boardroom. We've got daily tutorials, walking you through tools like notebook LM step by step, showing you how to save hours every week by letting the AI do the research and the busy work for you. We run four coaching calls every week where you can ask your own questions and get real answers about your setup. There are 2,800 business owners in there right now.

A lot of them already using notebook LM to handle research reports and client work faster than ever. If you want to stop falling behind and start actually using this stuff, the links in the comments and description, come join us. Okay. Back to it because this next part is where it really clicks.

The old notebook LM gave you answers inside the chat, text, summaries, maybe an audio overview. That was the output. You'd then have to take that text and rebuild it into whatever you actually needed, a report, a slide deck, a spreadsheet all by hand. Now, notebook LM builds the finished thing for you.

11 different formats you can download. Let me walk you through them because each one saves you real time. You can ask it for a PDF report, a clean formatted report with charts and tables already inside, not a wall of text, an actual document you could send to a client. You can ask for a word doc, same idea, but editable.

So you tweak it, change a line, make it yours. You can ask for a PowerPoint, real slides. So instead of building a deck from scratch, you say, turn my research into a slide deck. And it does, then you just polish it.

You can ask for an Excel spreadsheet, like a budget sheet with the numbers all laid out or a simple CSV or JSON file. If you need the raw data to plug into something else, you can ask for charts and data visualizations, real graphs saved as image files, ready to drop into a post or a presentation. And you can ask for images powered by Nano Banana, which is Google's image tool, so it can create pictures to go with your work. Here's the cool part about how it does this.

These aren't just pre-made templates with a button. When you ask for one of these, Notebook LM plans it out, writes the code to build it and runs that code on its little cloud computer. Then it hands you the finished file and you can edit any of it after. Let me give you one practical example.

Say you wanted to grow something like a community or a business. You could feed Notebook LM everything you've got, your notes, your member feedback, your research on what people want. Then you say, build me a one page report showing the biggest benefits people get from joining with charts. And it builds it, a clean PDF ready to share in minutes.

That's the kind of thing that used to take a full afternoon. Now it's a single sentence and a short wait. So let's zoom out for a second. Why does all this actually matter to you?

Think about how much of your week goes to grunt work, reading long documents, pulling out the important bits, cleaning up messy data, turning notes into reports, building slides, making charts. That's hours. Every single week. And none of it is the fun part.

None of it is the thinking. It's just the heavy lifting. Notebook LM just took most of that off your plate. The reading, the analyzing, the formatting, the building.

It does the parts that drain you. So you can spend your time on the parts that matter. The decisions, the strategy, the actual growing of your thing. Now I want to be straight with you about the catch because there is one.

This big update isn't free for everyone yet. Right now it's rolling out to people with a Google AI ultra subscription and to business customers on certain workspace plans. So if you're on the free version, you've got the older notebook LM for now, but here's the thing. This is the direction.

This is where the whole tool is headed. The free tools always catch up. The features that are locked behind a paywall today are the standard tomorrow. So the smart move isn't to wait.

It's to understand how this works now. So you're ready the second it's in your hands. And let me tell you the truth about what's really happening here. Notebook LM used to be a reader.

It read your stuff and told you about it. Now it's a doer. It reads, it thinks, it browses, it builds, and it delivers a finished file. That's a completely different tool.

The thing you used last month and the thing that's live today are not the same product. They just share a name. This is the pattern with all of this AI stuff right now. The tools aren't getting a little better.

They're jumping one update and suddenly the thing can do five jobs it couldn't do the week before. And every time that happens, the people who already understand the tool pull further ahead of the people who are still figuring out the old version. I keep saying this because it's true. The gap isn't between people who are smart and people who aren't.

It's between people who learn these tools early and people who wait. The early folks are getting their work done in a fraction of the time. They're handling more clients, more projects, more everything with the same hours in the day. And the people waiting are still doing it all by hand, wondering why they feel so behind.

You don't have to be one of the people waiting. So let me leave you with this and then point you somewhere useful. Notebook LM with its own computer, a hundred skills, web access, and 11 kinds of finished files it builds for you. That's not a small update.

That's a brand new tool wearing an old name. And it's the clearest sign yet of where everything is going. The AI doesn't just answer anymore. It works.
