New Google Gemini VO4 is insane, plus more. Google just showed off VO4 and it's the biggest jump in AI video we've seen this year. Talking video that looks real, people that move right, fitting that matches, sound that fits, from a few words you type. That's just one piece.
Google dropped a whole stack of new AI tools at the same time. VO4, Gemini 3.1 flashlight, new mind maps inside Notebook LM, brand new tool called Pomeli that builds full marketing campaigns for you, and Gemini notebooks for keeping your work organized. I want to walk you through every single one, because if you run a business, this changes how you make content, how you plan, how you market, and how you save time. All in one week.
Let's start with VO4, because this one is the headline. VO4 is Google's new AI video model. It's coming soon, and from what they've shown, it's a huge step up from VO3. The clips look smooth, faces don't melt, hands look like hands, and it feels real.
That's been the big problem with AI video for years. People walking funny, water that doesn't move right, lights that don't match. VO4 fixes most of that. The clips also have sound built in, so you type a prompt, and you get video plus audio in one go.
No editing two files together, no syncing music after, just one finished clip. Now here's why this matters for a business owner. Think about how much time a short video ad takes right now. You need to film it, music, captions, maybe hire someone, maybe spend hours doing it yourself.
With VO4, you type what you want, and you get a clip in minutes. A clip you can post, a clip you can run as an ad, a clip you can use on your website. Video used to be the slowest part of marketing. Now it's the fastest.
Google hasn't given a hard release date yet. He said it's coming. So treat this like the next wave. Not the now wave, but it's close, and when it lands, the people who are ready will move first.
Now let me show you the second update, Gemini 3.1 Flashlight. This is Google's new fast model. Flashlight is built for speed. It answers quick, it costs less to run, and it's smart enough for most daily tasks.
Not the deep stuff, the everyday stuff, writing emails, pulling info from a doc, summarizing a long page, answering a customer question, quick tasks where you just need a good answer fast. Why does this matter? Most AI tasks in a business are not rocket science. You don't need the biggest, slowest, most expensive model to write a follow-up email.
You need something fast and smart enough. Flashlight is that. I keep saying this. The boring tasks are where AI saves you the most time, not the wild stuff, the daily stuff, replying to leads, cleaning up notes, tagging emails, writing short posts.
Flashlight is built for that kind of work. Quick pause. If you want to know how to set up flows like that for your business using Gemini, VO4, Pomeli, and the other tools I'm about to show you, come check out the AI Profit Boardroom. We've got four coaching calls a week where we go step by step on how to plug these new Google tools into your daily work.
We've got a 30-day roadmap built around Gemini and the new AI video tools so you know exactly what to set up first. Daily tutorials walking you through each new feature as it drops. Prompt library full of tested prompts for Gemini, VO, and marketing campaigns. And 2,800 members already automating their business with AI so you can ask anyone for help anytime.

If you've used NotebookLM, you know it lets you load up your docs, your notes, your research, and ask questions across all of it. MindMaps was already a cool feature. It turned your notes into a visual map. You could see how ideas connected.
Now Google just made MindMaps way better. Three big upgrades. First, you can steer the map with your own prompts. Before, the map just made itself.
Now you can say, hey, focus this map on my customer pain points or focus this map on lead sources or focus this map on my content plan for next month. The map shifts based on what you ask. So you get a map that fits your goal, not a generic one. Second, you can rename and share your maps.
Sounds small. It's not. Before, your map had a name you couldn't change. Now you can name it, save it, send it to your team, share it with a client.
Treat it like a real working doc. Third, the navigation is way smoother. You click a node, it slides. You zoom, it stays clean.
Feels like a real tool now, not a clunky beta. Why this matters. MindMaps are great for planning. They help you see the big picture.
A new product launch, a content calendar, a sales funnel. With the new steering, you can ask the map to show you only what matters for that one project. So you don't get buried in info you don't need. Now let's talk about the fourth update.
And this one might be the most useful one for marketing. Pumeli. Pumeli is a brand new Google tool. And the pitch is wild.
You add your products or services. You connect your brand. Pumeli then builds full personalized marketing campaigns for you. Ad copy, photoshoots, visuals, tailored to your brand.
Free. Let me say that again differently. You upload what you sell. Pumeli writes the campaigns.
Pumeli makes the images. Pumeli matches it to your style. Then you pick what you want and run it. The part that gets me is the photoshoot piece.
Most small businesses can't afford a real product photoshoot. It costs a lot. Takes a long time. You need a photographer, a setup, lighting, editing.
Pumeli skips all that. It makes the product images for you in your brand style in minutes. For people who run a small business, this is huge. Photoshoots are usually the biggest blocker.
You skip them, your store looks weak. You do them, you spend hours and a lot of cash. Pumeli takes that bottleneck and makes it instant. It's available everywhere, Google said.
And it's free. So you can try it now. The big shift here is that marketing tools used to be split. One tool for copy, one for images, one for video, one for ads.
Pumeli puts most of that in one place and it does the hard part for you. You stop being a marketer running 10 tools. You start being a person picking from options. Now the last update, Gemini notebooks.
Gemini now supports organized notebooks. So inside Gemini, you can group your chats, your docs, your research, your notes, all into notebooks. Each notebook is its own space. Your project, your client, your topic, your team.
This sounds simple. It's a big deal. Most people use AI in messy chats. You ask one thing, you forget where you saved it.
You start a new chat, you lose context. Notebooks fix that. You keep all the work for one thing in one place. The AI remembers what's in there.
You come back tomorrow, you pick up where you left off. One example, you're planning a launch. You start a notebook called launch plan. You drop in your product details, your target customer, your past ad copy, your goals.
Now every time you ask Gemini something inside that notebook, it knows the project. You don't have to repeat yourself. You don't have to repaste your goals every chat. It just knows.
That kind of memory is what makes AI feel like a real assistant, not a search bar. Teammate that remembers. So let's put it all together. Because the point of this video isn't five separate tools.
It's the shape of what Google is building. You can plan with mind maps. You can run daily tasks fast with Flashlight. You can store your projects in notebooks.
You can build full marketing campaigns with Pomeli. You can make video ads with VO4. That's a full stack for running a small business. Planning, daily work, marketing, video, all inside Google.
All connected. A year ago you needed five different tools, five different logins, five different costs. Now it's one ecosystem. Google is building the all-in-one workspace for AI.
And if you're a small business owner, that's a big shift. I get the skepticism. People hear about a new AI tool every week. Most of it fades.
This one is different because Google has the reach. They have the users. They have the data. When they ship, billions of people get it.
So when VO4 lands, when Pomeli rolls out wider, when notebooks gets used by every team, this is the standard. Not a niche tool. Here's the part most people miss. The tools are getting easier, not harder.
You don't need to be a tech person anymore. You don't need to know how to code. You don't need to set up some crazy back end. You type.
You click. You pick. The tools do the work. That means anyone who has a small business, a service, a product, a side project, can use this stuff today.
But the people who learn it now will be miles ahead by the time everyone else catches up. That's the part that matters. Not the tool. The timing.
Think about how people learned the internet in the early 2000s. The ones who built websites early got the customers first. Same with social media in the late 2000s. The ones who got on Instagram early built the biggest brands.
Same with AI right now. The people who learn how to use these tools first will move ahead. The ones who wait will scramble. You don't have to be early on everything.
But you should be early on something. Pick one of these tools. VO4 when it lands. Pomeli today.
Notebooks today. Flashlight today. Pick one. Use it daily for a month.
You'll be ahead of 99% of business owners. One more thing I want to point out. Pomeli is free. Gemini Notebooks is free.
Flashlight is built in. Mind Maps inside Notebook LM is free. Most of this stack is free right now. That's not normal.
Google is making a play. They want you using their tools. So they're giving them away while they're new. That window won't last forever.
Free things get paid features. Paid features get tiers. The cheap part of new AI is right now. So if you've been thinking about getting started, this is the moment.
Look, this whole Google update gives you a full stack to plan, market, and grow your business. VO4 for video ads. Pomeli for full campaigns. Notebooks to keep it all organized.
Flashlight for daily work. Mind Maps for clear planning. Inside the AI profit boardroom, we've already built a 30-day roadmap around Google's AI stack. How to set up Gemini Notebooks for your business.
