New Claude Design Update is insane. Claude just doubled token limits across every single plan, and they quietly dropped a design update at the same time. If you use Claude for anything, content, landing pages, automations, proposals, this changes what you can do with it. Not slightly, significantly.
Let's get into it. So the title says it all, New Claude Design Update. Token limits doubled. And once you understand what that actually means in practice, you're going to want to open Claude right now and start testing this.
First, the token thing, because a lot of people hear token limits and their eyes glaze over. Here's all you need to know. Tokens are basically how much Claude can hold in its head at once. Think of it like a whiteboard.
Bigger the whiteboard, the more you can write on it, the more context Claude has, the better the output it gives you. Thropic just doubled the size of that whiteboard across every plan. Free, pro, team, all of it. What that means in real terms, you can paste in longer documents.
You can have longer back and forth conversations without Claude forgetting what you said earlier. You can build longer, more detailed automations and workflows. You can give Claude your entire SOPs, your brand voice doc, your email sequences, your full product description, all in one go. And it will actually remember and use all of it without losing the thread halfway through.
Before this update, you'd hit a wall. You'd be mid project and Claude would start to forget the early stuff. The context would slip. Now that wall is twice as far away.
And in practice, for the kind of work most people are doing with Claude, that's a massive deal. And that brings us to the design update, because this isn't just about more tokens. Thropic also pushed a Claude design update that gives you more control over what Claude actually creates for you. Inside Claude now, you can generate more complex and more polished visual outputs.
Think landing pages, structured documents, formatted reports, full web page layouts, all built directly inside the chat. The interface has evolved and it's worth spending time with it because the gap between what Claude produces and what you'd pay a designer or a developer to build has gotten a lot smaller. Let me show you exactly what I mean. Say you want a new landing page for a lead magnet.
You want it to look clean, convert well, explain your offer clearly, and match your brand. Before this update, you'd get a decent draft. With Claude's design now, you can specify the structure. Hero section, sub headline, three benefit blocks, social proof section, CTA, give Claude your brand voice, your offer details, your audience.
And it produces something you can actually put live or hand off to a developer with minimal changes. Built a landing page for the AI profit boardroom using Claude to test this. Gave it the full offer details, the target audience, the tone, the key benefits, more tokens means I could fit all of that in one prompt. And what came back was clean.
The copy hit the right notes. The structure made sense. And look, a lot of people are still using Claude like it's a basic chatbot. Paste a question, get an answer, move on.
That's leaving a huge amount on the table. What Claude is now is closer to a creative and operational partner, especially with these updates. Speaking of which, if you want to go deeper on how to actually use Claude design for your business, whether that's building content, designing pages, writing automations, or running client work through it, the AI profit boardroom has a dedicated Claude playbook inside. You've got step-by-step tutorials showing you how to use the new token limits and design tools to actually grow your business.
Four coaching calls every week where we break down exactly how to get the most out of every Claude update as it ships. And 2,800 members who are running Claude inside their business right now, many of them already using Claude design for client deliverables, content systems, and lead general link in the description, or go to aiprofitboardroom.com. Now back to the design side of this, because there's something specific happening here that a lot of people are missing. Claude design isn't just about pretty outputs, it's about compression.
The ability to go from an idea to a finished usable thing in one session without needing to bounce between tools, hire someone, wait for revisions, or do five back and forth emails. Here's where that gets really interesting. For more tokens, Claude can now handle more complex briefs, and with the design update it can turn those briefs into structured, formatted, visually clean outputs. Put those two things together and you've got a workflow that was genuinely not possible six months ago.
Example, you want to put together a full proposal for a new client. Before you'd write it yourself, maybe use a template, format it up, tweak the design, check the structure. That's a few hours of work if you're fast. Now you paste your offer, your client's problem, your pricing structure, your process, your case study notes, all of it, and Claude produces a formatted proposal you can send.
The new token limit, nothing gets cut. The design update, the formatting halts, looks like something. Now the people who are going to win with this are the people who understand how to brief Claude properly, because the tool has leveled up but the input still matters. Garbage in, garbage out, that hasn't changed.
What has changed is that when you put good information in, Claude now has more room to do something excellent with it. So what does a good brief look like with the new token limits? Looks like everything, seriously. Stop trimming your prompts to save space.
Stop leaving out context because you thought Claude couldn't handle it. Now it can. Give it your full brand guide. Give it all the customer testimonials.
Give it the long version of your offer. Give it the backstory on the project. The more signal you give it, the better the output. The old habit was to be surgical with what you pasted in because tokens were tight.
That habit is now working against you. Relearn it. And this applies especially to automation workflows. If you're building prompts inside tools like Make, Zapier or any kind of AI automation stack, you can now have longer, more detailed system prompts, which means the AI inside your automations behaves better, stays more consistent and requires less fixing.
The outputs your automations produce will be more accurate and more on-brand. Here's something specific I've been testing. I built a Claude automation for the AI profit boardroom that takes a new member's onboarding responses and produces a personalized welcome message, a recommended 30-day roadmap based on their goals and a list of the three tutorials inside the community most relevant to them. That prompt is long, needs context about the member, context about the community, context about the different goal types and instructions for tone and format.
The old token limit that was tight. Now it's comfortable. And the output quality went up noticeably because I could include better examples and more nuance in the instructions. That's the kind of thing that's now unlocked for anyone willing to think about how to use these tools seriously.
Let's also talk about what this means if you're running content at any kind of volume because double token limits plus Claude's design is a big deal for content production. Four, if you wanted Claude to rewrite a long article, say 2,000 words, while maintaining your brand voice and restructuring it for SEO, you'd often have to break it into chunks. Paste the first half, work on it, paste the second half and Claude would lose consistency between the sections. Now you paste the whole thing.
You get a coherent rewrite from start to finish. You give it your voice guide and it actually uses it throughout. For anyone producing blog posts, email sequences, social content, video scripts, this compresses the workflow significantly. You spend less time managing the AI and more time actually pushing work out the door.
The design update also matters here because Claude can now produce better formatted content outputs, things that have structure, that use headers correctly, that are laid out in a way you can actually hand off or publish without spending another 30 minutes reformatting everything. Let's get into what's coming next because Anthropic doesn't make updates in isolation. The pattern here is consistent. More capability, more context, more design intelligence.
Every update has been moving in the direction of Claude being able to handle more of a full project end-to-end with less hand-holding. Token doubling is part of a broader shift toward Claude being able to work on bigger, longer, more complex projects in a single session. Design update is part of a shift toward Claude being able to produce outputs that are closer to production ready. Put those trends together and where they're going is obvious.
Claude is becoming something you run a meaningful chunk of your business through, not a helper for specific tasks. A core tool in the operation. The businesses that build around this now, the ones that figure out how to integrate Claude deeply into their content, their client work, their sales process, their operations, are going to be working at a different speed and a different quality level than the ones still treating it like a search engine. And that's the thing about these updates.
They only matter if you actually put them to work. The token limit doesn't help you if your Claude prompts are still three sentences long. Design update doesn't help if you're not actually using it to build things. The people getting the most out of Claude right now are the ones who've taken the time to learn how to use it seriously and keep updating their approach as the tool updates.
That's exactly what the AI Profit Boardroom is built around. Inside right now we're walking members through how to use the new Claude design features to build better content, better proposals, better automations. Got tutorials specifically on how to write longer, more detailed prompts now that the token limits have doubled and how to structure those prompts to get the cleanest possible outputs.
