Claude Code just made fast mode default to Opus 4.7. That happened on May 14th. And if you're using Claude Code right now, every time you type fast, you're automatically running on their most capable model. Times faster.

Same intelligence. Same reasoning. Same 1 million token context window. Just quicker.

Here's why that matters for actually running a business. Speed changes how you work. When responses are slow, you overthink your prompts. You wait.

You lose the thread. When responses are fast, you iterate. You test. You build.

You keep going. Fast mode flips the whole dynamic. This isn't a cheaper, cut-down version of the model. Thropic made that clear.

It's the exact same Opus 4.7 running on a faster infrastructure path. The model doesn't skip reasoning steps. It doesn't compress output to go quicker. You get the same depth.

It just arrives faster. Hey, if we haven't met already, I'm the digital avatar of Julian Goldie, CEO of SEO agency Goldie Agency. Whilst he's helping clients get more leads and customers, I'm here to help you get the latest AI updates. And Julian Goldie reads every comment, so make sure you comment below.

There's also a new effort level that came with Opus 4.7 called XHI. That sits between high and max. So now you've got real control. Do you want raw speed, deep reasoning, or somewhere in between?

You choose based on the task. Let me show you what this actually looks like with a real example. Say you want to run a growth campaign for the AI profit boardroom. From Cloud Code, type out fast, set effort to XHI, and send this prompt, research the top objections someone would have before joining an AI automation community.

Then write a five email welcome sequence that handles each objection, builds trust, and makes it obvious why joining the AI profit boardroom is the right move for any business owner who wants to save time and get more customers with AI. Claude holds all of that context, works through it step by step, checks its own logic, and hands you a finished sequence. Fast mode that comes back quick enough that you can review it, tweak the tone, test a different hook, and have a final version done in one sitting. That used to take hours.

Now it takes one focused session. Now let's get into what actually changed with Opus 4.7, because fast mode is only valuable if the model underneath it is worth running. Three things change that matter for business use. First, image handling.

Opus 4.7 now reads images up to 2,576 pixels, more than triple the detail of the previous limit. Coordinates are now 1,1 with actual pixels. So if you hand Claude a screenshot of your AI profit boardroom sales page and ask it to find conversion gaps, it's reading that image with way more accuracy than before. Here's a prompt you could run right now.

Paste a screenshot of your landing page into Claude code and say, analyze this landing page for the AI profit boardroom. Identify the three biggest conversion blockers, then rewrite the headline, sub-headline, and first paragraph to fix them. The goal is to get more business owners to sign up for the community. With high-res image support, Claude reads the actual layout clearly and gives you specific, actionable feedback, not generic advice.

Second, Opus 4.7 now follows instructions more literally. Notion tested it and said it was the first model to ever pass their implicit need tests. What that means for you, if you write a clear, specific prompt, Claude follows it precisely. Big prompts still get vague results, but when you're intentional, the output is tight.

So instead of saying, write some social posts about AI profit boardroom, you'd say, write seven LinkedIn posts. Each one teaches one specific AI automation tactic. Keep the language at a third grade reading level. End each post with a single sentence that points business owners to the AI profit boardroom.

No hashtags, no emojis. That level of specificity now gets you exactly that output. Look, if you want to build Claude code workflows exactly like this for your own business, the AI profit boardroom is where 2,800 business owners are doing it right now. We've already built a full 30-day roadmap specifically around Claude code, how to set up fast mode, how to use X high effort for deep workflow tasks, and how to build automation that saves you time and brings in more customers.

Four coaching calls every week where we go live into Claude code together and build real stuff. Daily tutorials covering every update as it drops, including this one. Prompt library built around Claude workflows. Link in the comments and description or go to AIprofitboardroom.com.

Third, and this is a big fix, Claude code was previously capping sessions at 200,000 tokens, even though Opus 4.7 supports a full 1 million. That's been corrected. So if you're running a long project, say building out the entire AI profit boardroom onboarding system from scratch, Claude holds the full context without compacting early. Doesn't forget what you said 40 messages back.

Stays coherent across the whole thing. Here's what that looks like practically. You start a session and say, we're building a complete onboarding experience for new AI profit boardroom members. Needs to include a welcome email, a quick start guide covering the top five AI automation tools, a 30 day roadmap with daily actions and a FAQ doc covering the most common questions new members ask.

Hold all of this in context as we build each piece together. Previous versions, Claude would start losing the thread by the time you hit the 30 day roadmap. Now it holds everything. The whole project stays connected.

Let's go through the specific workflows you can build right now because this is where fast mode gets really useful for growing a community like the AI profit boardroom. The goal here is to attract the right people. You want business owners who are curious about AI automation but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Claude Code with fast mode on, run this.

You are a content strategist for the AI profit boardroom, a community of 2,800 business owners learning AI automation. Write a 10 part LinkedIn content series. Each post teaches one AI automation tactic that saves time for business owners. This 10 ends with a strong reason to join the AI profit boardroom.

Keep every post under 150 words, simple language, real examples. You get a complete, ready to schedule content series. View it, adjust two or three posts and you're done. That's a full month of recruitment content in one session.

Most landing pages lose people in the first 10 seconds. You can use Claude Code to fix that fast. Take your current AI profit boardroom landing page copy, paste it in and say, this is the current copy for the AI profit boardroom landing page. Identify the five weakest points, then rewrite the hero section, the benefits section and the call to action.

The target audience is business owners who are curious about AI but haven't started yet. Make it feel urgent, clear and easy to understand. Degrade language. Claude gives you a complete rewrite with reasoning behind each change.

You pick the best parts, test them, iterate. Fast mode, you can run three or four versions of this in an hour. Workflow three, cold outreach at scale. Reaching out to potential members one by one is slow.

Claude Code speeds this up massively. Prompt, write 10 personalized cold outreach messages for marketing agency owners explaining why AI automation matters to their business right now. Each message is three sentences. Sentence one names a specific problem they have.

Sentence two explains how AI automation solves it. Sentence three points them to the AI profit boardroom. Then repeat that prompt swapping in consultants, coaches, e-commerce owners, service businesses. You've got a full multi-segment outreach library in one session.

Each message feels personal. None of it was written manually. A year ago, you'd ask Claude something and act on the answer yourself. Now you hand Claude a complete workflow and it builds the output for you.

Fast mode accelerates that. The X high effort level deepens it. The 1 million token context holds it all together. The people building these systems now for lead generation, for content, for member onboarding, for outreach are going to be significantly more effective than people who treat AI as a search engine.

The gap is only getting wider. So if you're watching this and you haven't built a Claude Code workflow yet, this update is the moment to start. If you want the full step-by-step process, how to set up fast mode, how to use X high effort for real business tasks and how to build Claude Code workflows specifically for getting more customers and saving time, come join us in the AI Profit boardroom. Every single workflow I showed you today, the recruitment content, the landing page optimization, the outreach sequences, the retention system, the content pipeline, we have step-by-step tutorials for all of it.

30-day Claude Code roadmap is already in there. Four live coaching calls every week where we build real workflows together. A prompt library with Claude-specific prompts ready to copy and use. And 2,800 members, a lot of them already running Claude Code for client work, outreach and content automation.

Someone's always online. Link in the comments and description or go to aiprofitboardroom.com. For the full process, SOPs and 100 plus AI, use cases like this one. Join the AI Success Lab.
