New, ChatGPT, Codex update, automate anything. Today I'm going to show you the new ChatGPT Codex update that can use your computer for you. It clicks, it types, it opens stuff, it even remembers how you like to work. This is new, this is big, and it's way easier than you think.
Imagine ChatGPT stops talking and just does the work. Yeah, that's now real, stick with me because I'll show you the wild part most people will miss. For years, ChatGPT could tell you how to do a thing. Now Codex can go and do the thing.
That's the whole shift right here. It went from a chat box to a worker with hands. So let me break this down nice and simple. Here's the update straight up.
More of Codex is rolling out across Europe this week. OpenAI is bringing computer use, the Codex Chrome extension, personalized memory, and Chronicle to Codex users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland. That's four big things at once. Let me walk you through each one.
The first is the one everyone's talking about. It's called computer use. Codex can see your screen, click buttons, and type right inside your apps on Mac and Windows. Think about that for a sec.
It's not just answering you. It's moving the mouse. It's filling the form. It's doing the boring clicky stuff you hate.
Here's a real way I'd use it. Say I want to grow my AI profit boardroom. I've got numbers sitting in three different places. My email tool, my community page, my traffic page.
Normally I'd open each one, copy the stuff, paste it, and try to make sense of it. That's 20 minutes of clicking. Boring. With computer use, I just say, go pull today's signups and traffic from these three pages and give me one clean summary.
And it goes and does it while I grab a coffee. That right there is the whole game. But hold on, because the next tool makes this even smoother, and I'll get to it in a second. Oh, real quick, if we haven't met yet, I'm the digital avatar of Julian Goldie, CEO of SEO agency, Goldie Agency.
While the real Julian is busy helping clients get more leads and customers, I'm here to bring you the latest AI updates so you never fall behind. And hey, Julian reads every single comment on these videos. So drop a comment down below and tell me, what's the first boring task you'd hand to Codex? I read them all.
Okay, back to it. The second tool is the Codex Chrome extension. This one's smart. It lets Codex work inside your browser tabs.
The cool part, it doesn't take over your whole browser and lock you out. It works across the tabs you're already signed into. So no weird setup, no copying links back and forth. Here's how I'd use that for the boardroom.
Let's say I wrote a long blog post about how AI automation saves business owners hours every week. I want short versions to share around. I just tell Codex, read this page and write me five short posts that show the value of joining the AI profit boardroom. Or I'm in my inbox and I've got the same question from 10 people about what's inside the community.
I say, draft a friendly reply that explains the benefits and invites them in. It writes the draft. I read it, I send it, easy. And that brings me to the next piece, which is honestly my favorite because this is where it stops feeling like a tool and starts feeling like a teammate.
But before that, let me give you something. If you're watching this and thinking, man, I want to actually do this stuff in my own business, then come join us in the AI profit boardroom. It's the best place to scale your business, get more customers and save hundreds of hours with AI automation, just like this Codex setup. Inside, I'll show you exactly how to use tools like Codex to do your busy work for you.
So you can focus on the stuff that actually grows your business. You get step-by-step guides, over a hundred ready to use prompts, a 30 day roadmap and weekly coaching calls with me. The link is in the description and pinned in the comments. Come say hi.
All right, the third tool, personalized memory. This is the one that makes everything compound over time. So normally every time you start fresh with an AI, you have to explain everything again, your style, your format, how you like things. It's like training a new person every single day.
Annoying, right? With memory turned on, Codex remembers. It remembers your preferred style, your recurring tasks, the way you like your stuff set up. So the first time I ask it to write my boardroom welcome email, I explain how I like it.
Warm, simple, no fluff. The second time, it already knows. The 10th time, it just feels like working with someone who gets me. That's the magic.
You're not starting over, you're building on top. One quick tip, in Europe, the UK and Switzerland, memory starts off turned off. So you just flip it on yourself in the settings. Takes two seconds, then you're good to go.
And the fourth one is Chronicle. This one's coming to Europe, the UK and Switzerland too. Chronicle builds memories by looking at your recent screen activity. It's pretty wild.
It watches what you're working on. So Codex just knows your context without you typing it all out again. Now, since it watches your screen, OpenAI says to use it carefully, and I agree. So turn it on, but keep your eye on it.
Don't point it at your most private stuff on day one. Okay, so let's zoom out. Why does this whole update actually matter? Here's the simple version.
ChatGPT stopped being a thing that just answers you. Now it's a thing that does work for you, and you don't need to be a coder to use it. If a task is mostly clicking, reading, typing, and moving info from one place to another, that task can now be handled by AI. That's huge for normal business owners.
That used to need scripts or hiring someone. Not anymore. Let me hit you with a few more ways you could use this, because once it clicks for you, you'll see it everywhere. For your business, you could have it pull your daily numbers, update your customer list, or keep an eye on what other people in your space are doing.
If you make content, you could have it gather research, draft your video chapters, or write up drafts to post across different platforms. All the stuff that eats your day, gone. Now here's the part I really want you to hear. The win isn't one cool automation.
The win is that Codex remembers how you work and gets a little better every single time. So the more you use it, the more time you get back, and time is the one thing you can't buy more of. But let me also keep it real with the risks, because I'm representing a real company and I won't lie to you. AI can misclick.
It can misread a page. So for anything important, you stay in the seat and you approve it. Don't let it just run wild with your passwords. Keep your hand near the wheel.
Treat it like a smart helper, not a robot you fully trust on day one. Some websites will block it too. That's just where we're at right now. It's powerful, but it's still early.
So here's the big takeaway, and I'll keep it dead simple. Computer use is the part that does the work. Memory is the part that remembers you. The Chrome extension is the part that makes it easy.
And Chronicle is the part that learns from your screen. Put it all together and you've got ChatGPT that can take action, remember your style, and help you run your day. The biggest shift isn't that ChatGPT got smarter. It's that ChatGPT got hands, and the people who learn to use those hands now are the ones who'll be way ahead a year from now.
So tell me down in the comments, what's the first task you'd make Codex do for you? Be honest. Is it your inbox, your reports, your content? I genuinely want to know, and I read every reply.
Now, if you want to actually set this up the right way, come join my AI Profit Boardroom.
